Cook Barba Stathis Giant Beans as you cook fresh vegetables without defrosting them.
You will only need (for 3 people): 1 packet of BARBA STATHIS Giant Beans 750g, 100 ml olive oil, 200 ml Barba Stathis Grated Tomatoes, 500 ml hot water (for a pot) or 200 ml (for a pressure cooker), salt, and pepper.
On the stove: In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over low heat and sauté the contents of the packet for 5 minutes. Increase the heat, add salt, pepper, the grated tomatoes, and the water, and stir gently. When it starts to bubble, reduce the heat to half, cover, and let it simmer for about 40'-45'.
In a pressure cooker: Follow the recipe as described above, but use 200 ml of water. Put the lid on the pressure cooker and once the valve rises, turn the heat down by half and let it simmer for approximately 15'.
In the oven: Follow the stove recipe and let it simmer for 15'-20', or the pressure cooker recipe and let it simmer for 10' after it reaches pressure. Transfer the contents to a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake in a preheated fan oven at 200°C for 15'. Remove the foil, and cook for another 15' until golden brown.
