Educational Program for Creating and Nurturing School Vegetable Gardens
BARBA STATHIS, in collaboration with Open Farm, is bringing sustainability, nutrition, and environmental awareness to the forefront by creating school vegetable gardens across Greece.
Through the “Little Farmers” initiative, primary school students and their teachers get hands-on experience growing their own vegetables, reconnecting with nature, and learning about the role of sustainable farming in protecting our planet. The program offers immersive workshops on balanced nutrition, soil regeneration, and biodiversity, empowering kids to cultivate healthy habits while getting their hands dirty.
Students step outside the classroom and become the “Little Farmers” of their school garden!
