Cook as any vegetable, whithout defrosting.
Ingredients (for 4 persons)
1 packet of Barba Stathis Green beans casserole, 1000g
½ cup of olive oil
1 cup of Barba Stathis Grated Tomatoes
1 cup of water (if using a pot) or ½ cup of water (if using a pressure cooker)
Cooking in a pot
Heat half of the olive oil over low heat and sauté the contents of the packet for 5-7 minutes. Turn the heat up, add the salt, pepper, grated tomatoes, the rest of the olive oil and 1 cup of water and stir gently. As soon as it comes to a boil, put the lid on the pot, turn the heat down by half and let it simmer for approximately 35-40 minutes.
Cooking in a pressure cooker
Execute the recipe as described above, but add ½ a cup of water. Put the lid on the pressure cooker and once the valve rises, turn the heat down by half and let it simmer for approximately 10 minutes.
