In 2025, BARBA STATHIS continued to stand by people in need, further strengthening its Corporate Social Responsibility program “We do good!”, in collaboration with 140 nonprofit organizations across Greece. By donating 86 tons of vegetables, BARBA STATHIS provided 387,000 servings of meals and salads, to more than 100.000 people in need. This initiative remains a cornerstone of the company’s social contribution, supporting efforts to reduce food insecurity and promoting the value of giving throughout the country.

Committed to sustainable development and taking action on climate change prevention and mitigation, BARBA STATHIS has set clear, science-based targets for reducing its carbon footprint. In July 2024, BARBA STATHIS's short-term climate targets were formally validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi). The SBTi initiative encourages companies to set clear scientific targets and take action to limit global warming to 1.5°C, as stipulated in the Paris Agreement. BARBA STATHIS commits to reduce by 2030 its Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions by 42%, its scope 3 GHG emissions by at least 25% and its scope 3 FLAG emissions by at least 30.3%. Through its commitment to this initiative, BARBA STATHIS aims to reduce carbon emissions across its entire spectrum of operations, demonstrating its dedication to transitioning to a climate-neutral, zero-carbon economy.
