BARBA STATHIS organized an awareness event on quitting smoking

On the occasion of World No Tobacco Day, BARBA STATHIS, in collaboration with the Hellenic Chest Diseases Society, hosted a health awareness event for its employees.

The event focused on the importance of quitting smoking, featuring expert pulmonologists who engaged with employees, sharing vital information on lung health and the negative impact of smoking. Discussions included the mechanisms of nicotine dependence and the psychological challenges associated with addiction, offering a comprehensive view of both the physical and the emotional aspects of quitting smoking. Additionally, the session highlighted the benefits of healthy respiratory function and the clinical advantages of smoking cessation.
