BARBA STATHIS stands out at the FEA Awards 2024 with four significant distinctions

BARBA STATHIS stood out at the Food Experts' Awards 2024, receiving four awards that confirm the company's commitment to innovation, quality, and product safety. Specifically, the company was recognized for its new products from the “360° Plant-Based Meals” line in the “BEST in TASTE – Customers’ Choice” category, as well as for the notable contributions of its executives to the industry.

The award ceremony, held as part of the Food and Drinks by Detrop event, brought together leading companies in the food and beverage industry, recognizing their initiatives in the field. BARBA STATHIS won in the “BEST in TASTE - Customers’ Choice” category for the new products in its “360° Plant-Based Meals” line, specifically for "Plant-Based Υiros with Classic Potatoes," "Plant-Based Moussaka," and "Plant-Based Pastitsio." This award reflects consumer appreciation for BARBA STATHIS’ products, rewarding the taste and quality of plant-based products made from pea protein, offering an alternative, flavorful, and healthy option for all households.

In addition, a significant distinction was awarded to Mr. Christos Mourtziopoulos, BARBA STATHIS’ Total Quality Manager, who received the “Joseph König Award” for his overall contribution to food safety. Mr. Mourtzopoulos was recognized for his continuous commitment to developing high standards and implementing rigorous quality and safety protocols.

Efthymia Koutsomitropoulou, R&D Manager at BARBA STATHIS, stated: "We are particularly proud of the recognition of our new plant-based products as “Best in Taste - Customers' Choice”, which stood out through sensory tests at the specialized TUV AUSTRIA LABORATORIES facilities. This acknowledgment encourages us to continue delivering innovative, high-quality, and safe products that meet the dietary preferences of Greek consumers."
