BARBA STATHIS and EMFASIS Join Forces to Support the Elderly

BARBA STATHIS, in collaboration with the nonprofit organization EMFASIS, organized an informational event dedicated to the elderly, designed specifically for its employees. This initiative marks yet another action by the company with meaningful social impact.


The event aimed to highlight aging through a modern, optimistic, and positive lens. Speakers focused on strengthening intergenerational dialogue, promoting understanding and connection between younger and older generations. Special emphasis was placed on the role of caregivers, acknowledging their daily contribution and the challenges they face. Participants had the opportunity to receive practical tools and useful guidance on caring for older adults, as well as tips for better managing their own daily routines.

Beyond its informational purpose, the event also incorporated an interactive approach, empowering attendees through practical advice and new knowledge. Sharing experiences, open discussions, and active participation were key elements of the session.

Following the event, a volunteer activity took place, with the BARBA STATHIS volunteer team preparing food packages. These packages will be distributed by EMFASIS to individuals in need.
